Sometimes it becomes tempting for a person with weight problems to try out such supplements despite the possibility of severe side effects and health safety concerns which most of the time are not listed. Yes indeed, some of the available natural weight loss supplements may be promising but there are those which have been proven by medical experts to cause more harm than good.  Here are some of the best and most popular natural supplements for weight loss;

Green tea: – So much has been written about green tea about its ability to help people with weight problems get rid of the extra pounds. However, the above claim has not been fully proven, though there is documented evidence indicating the presence of theanine, a naturally occurring substance in green tea. This substance is known for its ability to raise a person’s metabolism rate and also suppress an individual’s appetite. Even though, the consumption of this tea will not assist you in cutting down on your weight, it is treated as a natural supplement for weight loss as it provides the necessary support to your efforts of losing weight.

Apple cider vinegar: – It is a natural supplement that has been proven to naturally suppress one’s appetite. It can be consumed in two ways, either by pills before taking your meals or by one to three teaspoons of the supplements solution. However, you need to be aware of the adverse effects that have been associated with the consumption of the apple cider vinegar tablets but that should not stop you from using vinegar in your cooking as studies have suggested that satiety may be promoted by the consumption of vinegar.

White bean extract: – It commonly purchased as a natural supplement and it is also known by its scientific name of Phaseolus Vulgaris. According to its users, white bean extracts as a weight loss supplement inhibits the breaking down of carbohydrates to glucose by slowing down the activity of alpha-amylase which is a naturally occurring enzyme in the body. By so doing, it leaves behind less glucose for the body to change to fats.

It is however advised to use this extract with lots of caution as there is lack of enough clinical trials to prove how effective it is and what exactly are its side effects. Also, there have been cases in which users of white bean extracts have experienced some side effects which are viewed as minor such as nausea, gas and bloating.
