One of the most important aspects of life is to live happily. If you are not living a happy life then you are vulnerable to physical and mental illnesses like cancer, diseases, and the consequences of depression. There are plenty of ways to battle stress that come from work, mortgage or credit card bills, death of friend or family, and other causes. Here, I will be discussing some healthy living tips that will help you live happily in life.
Continuously Take Deep Breaths
Here is the easiest way to live happily. For the next 5 minutes or so, stop what you are doing and take long deep breaths. Deep breathing is a very important stress management tool and best of all; it’s free and easy to do! After doing this exercise, you will definitely feel better about yourself and hopefully it will brighten up your day.
Get Enough Sleep
Sleep is vital to our mental and physical health. You need about seven to nine hours to sleep, not too much and not too less. Without the proper amount of sleep, you will have a lack of energy and motivation which will lead to a unhappier life. So how many hours on an average do you sleep?
Exercise Is Important
You must exercise on a daily basis or at least every other day to be able to live happily. Exercising will prevent diseases and other health issues. Furthermore, you will feel much better about yourself and your body will absolutely love that! On average, you will need about 90 minutes of exercise per day. If you don’t have that much time to devote it to exercising than perhaps you can split it up and work out 30 minutes a day for 3 days. It’s important to set up a schedule on how you will exercise.
Be Hugged And Hug Someone Back!
It is a known fact that hugging will promote longevity and happiness. Doesn’t it feel good when you are getting hugged or when you are hugging someone? Humans need physical interaction with others. Hugging dogs and cats also count too! So don’t stop hugging!
Find Someone You Can Trust
Studies show that having a best friend can help you stay happier and live longer. Furthermore, being around a group of friends and attending social outings will bring laughter and happiness to your life.
