Do you ever ask yourself – why are we here? What’s the purpose of life and how to live life to the fullest? I’m sure you have. We all have. Sometimes we all lose track and we’re so confused that we stop and ask ourselves. Why are we doing what we’re doing, and how can we enjoy our lives to the max?

Life can play many nasty tricks on you. It is okay to get knocked down as long as you show the grit and courage to get back up.

I am no motivational guru. However, as someone who has weathered many storms in life, I guess I know how to live life.

There are quite a few things that we can’t change. We can’t change the circumstances we were born into. We can’t control many things that happen in our lives. However, we can decide how we should react to our life events. This requires developing the right habits.

Seek Support

When you are facing difficulties, you might want to crawl back into your shell. However, isolating yourself from your friends or family doesn’t help. Instead, you should reach out to people who are interested in your well-being. It could be a family member or a close friend. Having someone to share your problems with is a great help. Better still, they might be able to suggest solutions you couldn’t find on your own.

Live In The Present

Learn to quiet your mind. This requires constant practice. Every moment, we have to deal with countless distractions. This prevents us from giving our 100% to the job in hand. Try to live in the present. Forget about the past or the future. Meditation helps improve focus and concentration.

Be Positive

You can’t wish your problems away. Still, it makes sense to maintain a positive attitude towards life. Count your blessings and learn to be thankful.

People who believe in God often demonstrate greater levels of resilience which helps them reap emotional and physical benefits. Even if you don’t believe in God, you should believe in the essential goodness of humanity. Life is good and the world is friendly.

Give More Than You Take

Be useful to others. Give back. Even minor acts of kindness are known to boost the production of serotonin and increase your levels of happiness and well-being. Also, be kind to yourself. It is okay to have flaws.
